Larian Studios Forums Beyond Divinity (English) Help/Tips/Tricks Can't find alchemist

I was just wondering if anyone else has came across this problem. In Act II I can't find the friggin' alchemist. He's not in his cave. I have completely cleared the spider forest. Also, when the cut scene for the two rocks is supposed to come up, it didn't. I only have one rock. In my map it shows two but when I am standing there looking at them there is only one. Can someone Please help.

1. did you find out the cause for the plague? (Altoflix) - did you report this to the Chieftain's son? As soon as he gives you the quest to find the alchemist, you'll find him in the fire area, in his cave.

2. If you are in the cave => what does the minimap say? How many crosses are there? 2 for the plague victims and maybe 1 somewhere in the black?

Thanks, Kiya. I finally found Altoflix. I had missed him on my first go round. That helped a bunch. Once I talked to the alchemist, I had the cut scene for the rock. Thanks again.

One thing: as sson as you have all 3 ingredients for the alchemist, hand them over and click on him again => game becomes linear and you might bust a few unsolved sub quests. So, take care, ok?
