Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) Help/Tips/Tricks a couple of quick ones.

1) in the marketplace there is a guy who sells potions. What is in the bottome half of his house. I have tried to get in there so many ways, and I keep getting caught. Is there anything usefull in there, and how do you do it.

2) Does the "i wish for two more wishes" thing work. I tried it, but he said no and now I can't get even one wish. I played for an hour before saving so I will stop for tonight and start again tommorow, but until then I am curious.

Thanks Kiya for the great screenie. I am playing through the game a second time and intend on stealing from alchemist this time - first time around I did not steal from him. I understand the time to do it is when he goes outside to hear the singing or otherwise you get caught. Am I correct?
As to wishing well, you get one shot and then that is it. Save beforehand and try your options.

The alchemist Walker (my screenshot) and the poetry loving mage Kistandalius are not the same. You're right about the mage - he only leaves the shop during this poem. Rush into his back room, loot the chest and grab the book.
The chest in his shop room can be looted afterwards: Just turn into a spider <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />. This works <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />. Though you can't enter his back room anymore.

excellant, thanks for the info. I tried looting the mages house and i got a massive dagger, unfortunetly i did not save and I died shortly after.....argh. but there is always a second time around.
