Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) Help/Tips/Tricks Just started... killed ortho???

About 3-4 hours into the game... killed ortho because I killed his pigs... then forgot to ask the herb guy if i could take herbs before I took em, later when i went back to orthos after mirroring the gem, he tried to take me out, so I killed em... is he a intricate part to the story and do I need to restart game? Also, I got the heal spell from the lizard man after completeing the quest to heal the soldiers with the two gems, would have ortho gave me anything special had I not killed him?

Otho does not give you anything special for healing the soldiers. Either Otho or Joram are required for one of the main plot quests later, but you can get by without Otho.

The patch adds protection for more of the essential NPCs in the game, as well as other fixes and enhancements. Some of the changes only apply to games started after installing the patch, but you don't need to start over.

Although you may have trouble getting stuff repaired until you get further through the game.

Wouldn't it be nice if in games you could do something to gits like Ortho, something like poke him in the eye and leave him there yelling and holding his sore eye,or kick him in the goolies or in the shin, or even twist his nipple realy hard. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/delight.gif" alt="" />
