im a level 28 warrior, and ive gotten to the point near the elven burial grounds and the orcish camp.

when i go deap into the catacombs i nedd to kill this very powerful wizard chick!

witch level should i be before i try and kill her? i have 'bout 85 STR, 70AG , 68 CON, 19 INT. i do 'bout 110-170 damage.


And how do i get under the elven burial ground??


i realy need to find the holy amulet..!

You are in the wrong place friend. You must go to the nortwest part of Dark Forest not Elven Burial Grounds.
Probably that wizard chick is Josephina. She is accompanied by a pack of evil dwarfs? OK then. You are sure in wrong place. You can't beat her at level 28. Well, maybe you can but she will hurt you much <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/delight.gif" alt="" />
Look for a pond full of flowers near the Elven Ruins (NW Dark Forest). When you get in, the amulet is just to your east.

tho getting there was VERY easy, Orcs are realy easy to kill.


wich level should i try to kill josephine?


i think i found the pond, at the entry to the dark forest, a bit to the south , and a bit ti the west. its big and its brown. how do i get the amulet??

I think I beat Josephine around level 35 and it was a close win.
The Holy Amulet is just to your east when you enter Elven Ruins from the center entry. There is also a cave entrance which leads to Elven Ruins too. But that is not the entry I mention. If you found the Elven Ruins teleporter, the entrance is directly to the north of it.
I am sorry, I can't give you a screenshot. You can look for Dark Forest map. Dragon has one around here, just search the threads.

The fastest and best way to kill her is with the Scorpion Traps, just level up and put one skill point on the deadly gift skill.

Collect a Scorpion Trap from a Orc or buy some from Tingalf (the underground dealer near the blacksmith in the merchants area).

Just let them loose and watch the show. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

No offense however, scorpion traps just ruins the fun of game. Just like frost weapons do. As long as you have other options, I suggest to stay away from them.

actually, josephina wasn't nearly as bad as i was expecting...once you actually GET to her and start hitting her, she doesn't do hardly any damage...

getting there was a bit tough though...

Ok it may be easy to kill her if you are a fighter or surviver but as a mage!!

I can't harm her or her stupid demonic knights. It's easy to get rid of the dwarves but she casts her hell spikes twice and I'm gone. My lighning bolts or meteor strikes don't hurt her.

Any suggestions?

I defeated her before i found this forum. Once you kill all the dwarves - run to her and hack at her with your sword, i used the singing blade, but the sword of choas would be okay too. You have to do it fast, and stay on top of her! That way she can't cast any of her spells.
Maybe that will help you?

Good way to get rid of that deathknight is to use aura of command on it.

I toke her with level 5 hell spikes
the first time u meet Josephina shes though, but the secound time (OMG) <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/puppyeyes.gif" alt="" />
those who have realished what im talking about should know that shes really though there in the end of the whole game.

I finally managed to kill her. Is there any protection from hellspikes in general since it does no specific damadge like fire or poison?

Zeus, curse her several times (survivor), then blind/freeze her - no further spells are coming from her. Then just Elemental Hail and she was gone before I could even attack her dwarves. After she disappeared, her dwarves changed back to orcs and were very easy to kill, specially after having them cursed, too.

I managed to kill her the second time with relative ease. I simply cast "Blind" and "Curse" (survivor's) (Special thanks to Kiya for this particular strategy <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />) on her and follow with repeatedly cast "Hellspikes" and "Elemental Strike".
My mage got zero hits from her.
