Larian Studios Forums Beyond Divinity (English) Help/Tips/Tricks Book of Poisonous Creatures

I'm trying to retrieve the Book of Poisonous Creatures for the medical officer. The problem is when I click on it, it opens up and the only thing you can do with it is close it again with the x. How do you pick this thing up and put it in your inventory? I'm sure I have the right book.. in the left hand arena monster's cage on level 1?

Oops, never mind.. I just found out I have to drag and drop the bloody thing. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ohh.gif" alt="" />

this particular quest is the only one i have been unable to complete. I have been to the cages - is this where you are before you drop down into the hay. It seems there are many cages. If anyone has a map that shows it i would be very apreciative.

<img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/offtopic.gif" alt="" /> does anyone how to overcome the wizard type chap that is not far from the exit of the citadel. I have decided to leave him for a while and try again later. He seems exceedingly tough. A wind type cloud expelled from his direction finishes off either one of my guys almost instantly. I am level 11 i think. I found the Deathnight Patrol guys and the Deathnight Guards in Samuels Chamber rather easy so i didn't think i'd have a problem.

there are only 2 cages in the arena where you drop down the hole. Take the left cell and zoom - you will find the book under the hay, not in it.

The mage in Act 2 - I used the Shaman magic hammer spell to stun him. Sneaked up in single mode with my archer/mage. He managed to paralyze me, but she finished him off with arrows.
