Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) Technical Problems Dragon armor bug? King wont give me the quest..

After i returned the stone axe to the dwarven king, he didnt tell me anything about the dragon armor. What did i do wrong? Is there still a way to get it or should i load an old savegame and play the same 5+ hours again?

Hi and welcome, Flame - in order to get this quest, the King needs a letter revealing his brother's treachery.

As you have already delivered the Axe, you might have trouble to enter the King's room with the letter (the guards are very efficient).

1. Drag&drop one pyramid into the room and hop past the guards this way - or
2. Drag&drop the letter past them.

Yeah i already drag%dropped the letter past them, and got the dragon armor complete now. Thx for your help

I just wanted to say that the fact that those guards take your letter (and some other quest Items you need to show the king) is a pretty heavy bug, You actually have to "cheat" to get those quests done. I was walking around with that letter, and didn't get the quest, only after reading the forum, I discovered how to actually get/solve the quest.

Pindakaas, this "guard-theft" only takes place if you don't have both items at the same time (this was my XP) but deliver them one by one. As 1.0034 only requires the letter and not the axe anymore, I'm not sure, if the letter is taken then.

The letter was taken when i tried to get in after i delivered the axe, you can enter with only the axe however.
