I found the BF key to dungeon 2 and proceeded to explore it. Finished the first level and headed down to he second level. Found the entrance to the third level but low and behold I cannot get to it. The entrance to the third level is completely surrounded by walls with no doors. Looked for levers but none to be found. Is it possible because dungeon layouts are random that this could happen?

Any help will be appreciated.

PS I've saved my game at that area if it is important!
Also if Marion does answer this perhaps the answer could be a bit longer then No.

I recall a German gamer having this as well - dungeon made out of brown rocks.
I you scroll and click on that fountain => do your chars stand still or try to walk to it?

While searching the level the mini screen showed part of the entrance, when I got closer it showed the whole entrnace. I had a wall with a bookcase infront of me. Then I went around to the other 3 sides and had walls at all of them. When cursor is on the entrance while close to it, it show as a white flash so if nothing blocking it I would have been able to enter into the 3rd level. No fountain at all.

Gamer Grim once had a rock on the ground as an entrance - but I still don't understand your entrance.

Would you pack it with Winrar or Winzip and send it to kiya1@t-online.de, please? I'm just curious, thank you in advance.

Yes, the dungeons are randomly generated and this can happen.
I had in one of my dungeons a critical corridor blocked by a broken wall that I couldn't walk over.
You can't do anything about it, even reloading the game as the dungeons are pregenerated at the beginning of the game (I think). Or you can try reloading a game on an earlier act and seeing if the dungeons are generated at the start of every act.

Anyway, I know the feeling of frustration.

Thanks wonkawonka:

I figured with some of the situations that have been posted before that what you said is true. Dungeons are randomly generated and you cannot over come it.

Good news since then, I have finished the game again (2nd time around) and am spending some quality time in the Battlefields.
