Larian Studios Forums Beyond Divinity (English) Help/Tips/Tricks Very Last Battlefield - Key #5 won't open it

I've done all but the very last battlefield in the last Act, but after finally going through all of the chests and getting Battlefield key #5, the last battlefield still won't open. The battlefield is the one on the very right of that oh-so-tedious maze of spirals. To make it worse, my map doesn't work properly so previously uncovered areas show as black until I get closer, which meant I had to go through the dang whole maze of spirals to FIND the last battlefield again, even with my marker flags.

Is this a known bug? I would have thought that the last key to be found would have gained access to the last battlefield.

On the other hand, do I really care? The battlefields are pretty monotonous... but it ticks me off after slogging my way through this game.

The entrance to the dungeon you are at is dungeon key 6. I had the same problem. If you back track towards dungeon 4 you will see areas that are still blacked out, detour through these and you will find dungeon 5.

I never did find the dungeon 6 key. Finished the game though.

I could have sworn I just went to ALL of the battlefields...took over an hour going through that darned spiral maze.

But it's all for naught anyway, because the game will not finish. The last rift to the Boss battle will not open. Tried the wand in every room on level 4 of the Academy (yes, I looked at a walkthrough in total frustration). All I get is a smarmy voice telling me I have no use for the wand at this time.

You talk to the guy in the East room, do the boss battle in the West room and get the wand.
Then you go back to the East room, talk to the guy again and he gives you a book.
You then go north to the adjacent room, and double-click on your wand. It opens a rift. Go in the rift, do stuff in it, then come back.
Go talk to the dude again, then click on the rift and choose "close rift".

Then go back to the West room, look in your minimap and you'll see a blue orb. This is the room where you need to open the other rift. Go to that room (I forget if it's the west room or one adjacent to it, but it's on the west side) and double-click on the wand again. Rift opens. SAVE GAME. Step in the rift.

As far as I know, noone has ever found the BF key level 6 for the last act.
There are two keys for level 5 though.

Probably it's a bug and that BF key in the golden chest (after the whole chest odyssee) should be the BF key lvl 6.

Funny - that key must be a dummy because I had already done all the other battlefields in the last Act. Wonder where that last key is?

The key on Serrick's island is the joker one (not opening up an additional lvl) - and as long as the wine chest Desdemona mentioned will not open with the key in the torch - no one will ever know if key 5 is in there or if there was once a key on Serrick's Island opening lvl 5 and taken out of the game.

In any case => I consider it strange that Serrick has no proper BF key, as all the other island parts of Act 3 had one.
