Larian Studios Forums Beyond Divinity (English) Suggestions Leveling up the summoning dolls.

I was playing around with some skills and decided to level up my summoning doll a bit. I opened up the dolls inventory, raised his stats and then set him free. 30 seconds later his time ran out and he died. So I wait until I can resummon a new one when to my dismay the doll is the same level, but the stats are all at the level of a first level character and I don't have the option to reraise them.

Was this done on purpose? If so spending points on leveling your doll is completely worthless for a one shot deal.

The summoning doll upgrades should be permanent.
I was able to duplicate this problem by not clicking the checkmark to apply changes after assigning stat points to the doll. If they are applied, they will remain after the doll is unsummoned or runs outside of its range.

You can recover the lost skill points; Hex editing - gold, experience, stat/skill points.
