There is also a demo available. The first level included in the demo (and the first act in general) is indoors and designed to be linear, though it will give you a better idea of the gameplay that screenshots. Many of the voices were redone, and a couple interface improvements added since the demo was released.

I wouldn't judge Beyond Divinity by it's screenshots. It's not really about eye candy.

I still think the graphics are rather nice. I like a good 2d engine better than a crappy 3d one. In some cases better than a good 3d engine. Look at Neverwinter Nights: nice engine, but everything is so sterile. Divine Divinity, Beyond Divinity and Baldur's Gate for instance have loads of details NWN doesn't have (not to mention a much more detailed and exciting storyline).

marian, would it be possible for u to release more artwork based on BD? i'm sure u have a lot in your computer vault. i would appreciate it if u share it with us. i like the ones released prior to BD's release: characters(warrior, mage, ranaar), houses (imps). it's very detailed & nice for webpage artwork.

I am like you, i know very few things about the Larian artists.
About their own sites, i really don't know !
I enjoyed the "Peek of the Week" they wrote during the last year.
I will also be happy to see more artwork from Beyond Divinity.

I know that my site is not very nice.
I need a lot of time and a lot of motivation !

Nope, ...err, honestly, i never watched that series after seeing the first episode with a friend (who is a huge fan of it). I found it too much for children for my taste and the paint quality sucked imho. But almost every idea a human can have exists already in a lot of shapes, and since humans think in similar ways it's no surprise that completly different people come up with similar ideas. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/silly.gif" alt="" />
