Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) Help/Tips/Tricks Silver Breastplate and Dragon Heart Gem

I just got the Dragon Heart Gem. I got the Silver Breastplate a long time ago and have been holding onto it for some time now. I'm guessing the Dragon Heart Gem is used to enchant the Silver Breastplate into the Dragon Armor (breasplate). Anyway, how do I enchant it? I've tried using the gem on the armor, but it doesn't seem to work. My only suspicion is that I must be supposed to take it to an NPC I haven't discovered yet, who can do the enchantment for me. I haven't visited any NPCs (other than the ones in the Warrior's Guild) in the Dark Forest yet.

Without telling me the exact name or location of the NPC needed to help me with the enchant, please tell me if I'm simply doing something wrong or if I merely haven't found the NPC I require yet. Thanks! =)

ok first. the dragon brestplate is different from the silver brestplate. you use the dragon heart gem with the dragon brestplate to get the dragon brestplate.

second, you do have to take it to an NPC. keep looking in the Dark Forest.

For the enchantment mentioned in the silver armour description, you will need a spoiler for at least part of it. You can get most of the way in that quest by finding and deciphering 4 treasure maps distributed throughout Rivertown, Verdistis and the Dark Forest.
