I've just recently finished gathering up all seven of the council members. After going forward with the ceremony, I discovered that all of the unfinished quests were automatically failed. I'm assuming this is an indication that I've entered a new chapter or act (or whatever you want to call it) in the game. Anyway, I decided to reload an old saved game (just prior to the performing of the ceremony) so that I could complete all the remaining quests. The following are the quests that I'm stuck with. Feel free share all spoilers at will!
- "Find the Necklace." This is the most recent quest that I've acquired. I've already explored the entirety of all maps (that I know of). I can't even guess as to where the necklace is located. However, I do still have a quest necklace belonging to or from a Dark Elf (friendship necklace). I don't know what this is for, but it apparently isn't the one I need. Please tell me where the necklace I need for the Elf female is located, and what to do with the aforementioned necklace already in my possession.
- "A bottle of Wine" I've already completed the "Do I want to summon a Demon" quest (after a second attempt). I had already drank the exquisite wine before getting the quest that asked for it. Thus, I ended up using a regular bottle of wine instead. I'm curious if there's anyway to succeed in this quest without using a hack? Is there another exquisite wine laying around somewhere? If not, then please tell me what I'm missing out on by not completing this quest.
- "Find Clues about Wares." I've already talked to Marcus over and over again. I've already discovered and exposed the hidden supplies beneath the marketplace. I've already visited the broken carts (where the dwarf and the human collided), and I've already visited the broken cart with the letter warning of a curse for anyone who takes the items from the barrels. However, I must be missing something. What must I do to complete this quest?
- "Treasure Maps" I believe I already have two of the treasure maps. Assuming I only need a total of three, where is the last one? If there's a way you can show me the locations of all the required treasure maps via screenshots or otherwise, it'd be perfect!
That's it for quests, but I also have a bunch of random questions that I've been saving up for some time. Please respond to as many of them as you can:
1. I've noticed that my name is "Hero (as shown on the stats page)." Is there a way for me to give myself a custom name?
2.I'd just like affirmation on this one, but will my items that are stored in chests, barrels, broken barrels, and on the ground remain where they are after the ceremony takes place and I'm placed on a new map? Will I even be able to return to the places I've already been (such as Aleroth or The Dark Forest)? (Among many other things, I have some dragon armor and quest items being stored in chests.)
3. What's up with the dragon armor stats? The gloves and helmet especially, are very bad! With only 1 charm and very low magic properties, these armor pieces are laughable. I'm currently in possession of the Belt, Breastplate, Helmet, and Gloves (found in that order). I don't notice any bonus or stat increase for wearing them all at once. Will the armor be worth wearing once I have the boots, leggings, and shield (last remaining pieces)? (My current helmet, for example, is about 10X better than the dragon armor helmet.)
4. I currently have the Dragon Breastplate, Belt, Gloves, and Helmet. Do I need to find the rest of the set before going forward with the ceremony? More importantly, am I able to find anymore pieces of the set before completing the ceremony? If so, where are they located (don't tell me unless I can get them before completing the ceremony and travelling to the new land)?
5. I found the "Singing Blade" in the sewers when I discovered the hidden stash under the marketplace a while back. I've been saving the sword just in case it can be used to complete some sort of min-quest or whatever. Can the sword be used for anything, or is it merely a weapon like any other?
6. I have some items from completed quests left over. I'm curious if any of these items can be used for anything again. Please respond to each of the following questions for each respective quest item:
6.a. Fake branch bought from the 'traveling merchant' in Verdists. I never used this item, for obvious reasons, but can it be used for anything else (a secret use, perhaps)?
6.b. Polymorph Wand used to change Lizard council member back into his natural form. I tried to use this item to change the cow and boar from The Dark Forest back into their natural form (assumed there was a reason I still had the item after completing the initial quest), but it didn't work for that purpose. Anyway, can this items be used again (for anything else)?
6.c. Filled Holy Grail used to change the cow back into his natural, elven form. I tried to use it on the boar, but he refused it. Anyway, can this item be used again for anything?
6.d. Dragon Heart Gem used on dragon breastplate by the smith to restore its magical properties. I bought this item back from the smith after it was initially used, just in case I was intended to use it again for any of the other pieces of dragon armor. Does this gem have any further use?
6.e.'The Path of Life' Book used to pass the test given by the statue. Does this item still serve any purpose?
6.f.I got the Toy Dragon when checking to see if the sword was still in it's place. I have not had any use for this item yet. However, I've been saving it in the even that I might have a use for it at some point later on. Anyway, does this item have any use whatsoever?

You are correct that the blessing ceremony is a one way trip. The most knowledgeable person in the game when it comes to jewelry would be the dwarven jeweler in the dwarven halls... The other necklace you have is an easter egg; the initials C.B. are for Cattie Brie, a friend of Drizzt, a drow in Salvatore's fantasy books (and also in Baldur's Gate). You are not missing anything, besides maybe a bit of experience, by drinking the exquisite wine. The quest log gets cleared in the wastelands, so just ignore it. Did you get the letter dropped by Pedro in the sewers under Ars Magicana? Did you take the letter from the cave? Lt Robin in Ars Magicana should arrest Tingalf once you bring him this evidence. Marcus-Tingalf-Trevor-QuestThere are 4 treasure maps. Silver Armour and Treasure MapsYou could have changed the name during when you started the game. You can hex edit a file to change it afterwards, though; character name. You will not be able to return after the ceremony (except by hex editing), so sell anything you do not want and take everything else with you. Stats are random, even with the dragon armour. If you quick save before running your mouse over an item/chest/merchant or hitting the alt key, you can identify the item or trade with the merchant, then quick load to get different stats or inventory. This can be done repeatedly to get the best stats or specific bonuses on an item (save after finding good candidates) or looking for specific items (such as spell books or charms) from merchants. The dragon shield is the last piece (no leggings or boots), and is located in Stormfist castle. The first time you wear the complete set you get experience, learn a level of a spell and Bless it cast on you (temporary). There are no additional bonuses for wearing the complete set. The Singing Blade can potentially be quite good, but has no other purpose than whacking monsters with the pointy end. The silver breastplate upgrade is related to the treasure map quest; see the link above. None of the quest items can be used for other quests / purposes. The toy dragon explains how Janus found the Sword of Lies, but is not part of any quest.

Thanks for the fast reply... how do I enter the castle to get the dragon armor shield? I haven't tried entering the castle in a little while, but last I knew I wasn't permitted entry. Can I enter freely now?
(PS. The no return sucks! I hope the game isn't almost over already! It's also going to be a bummer if the council of seven remains dead! It took a while to gather them all up, and after about three minutes of finally having them all there together, they all die?! What a waste!)

You can toss a teleporter stone past the guards at the castle entrance. Alternately, just run in, and immediately after the conversation ends, click inside again; they will not be fast enough to stop you a second time.

No, not all.

Ahh! I discovered that I merely needed to re-visit one of the caves. A couple thieves or assasins showed up and I had to kill them (one was the female I rescued from the thieve's guild prison cell). Anyway, I got the letter and brought it to Marcus to complete the quest... However! Once I completed that quest, a new quest started. I have no idea why. It's called 'To Rivertown.' I've tried talking to Lt. Robin, Marcus (and his friend standing next to him), and the Verdistis merchant in the merchant's guild house. None of them had anything useful to say. What do I do to complete this new quest? (I clearly went about this quest in the wrong order... thus, I'm all confused!)
Am I supposed to get behind the locked door in the Rivertown Alchemist's house? Whenever I open the door, he walks over and locks it and gets angry with me. How do I get inside without making the alchemist mad? Also, I haven't been beyond the point where the magician teleports me outside his shop. It's the building with the blue, glowing ball of some sort. Anyway, how do I get in there without being ported out by his magic?
Lastly, if, once the ceremony is complete, I won't be able to go back to any of the places I've already been, should I bring both pyramid teleporter stones with me so that they'll still work? (One of them is located next to my bed where I always sleep and store my stuff in my chests.)
Add-on:
- I completely forgot about the poor guy that got arrested for stealing cows and handing out the meat to feed the people who couldn't afford to buy food. Anyway, this isn't a quest, but how do I free him from prison?

The female assassin in the cave is not the one captured by the thieves' guild. Visit the cellar under Leptine's shop in Verdistis and ask the bartender for special treatment if you want to see Penumbra again (assuming you saved Corinna the first time you entered her house).
Just walk into Dr Elrath's house; he will always kick you out. There is a key south east of his house you can use to enter, or the door can be Lockpicked (level 2 IIRC) until you confront him with certain evidence.
The orb in Kistandalius' shop is just decoration; the only things of value are a spell book on the table, and a potentially very good dagger in the locked chest. There is a brief opportunity to get into the back unnoticed when you pay the minstrel outside to recite some poetry. Other than that, you would have to kill Kistandalius to enter the back of his shop; even out of sight he teleports you away.
You can bring both teleporter stones with you, but if you don't you can find replacements hidden near the start of the wastelands.
You can not rescue the cow thief; even opening the cell he will not leave. He gets arrested whether you turn him in or not.
It would have been nice if the background music changed after clicking on the piano. There was a minstrel in one of the old Ultima games (IIRC) that you could ask to play a song and the background music for the town would change. I preferred that song, so always talked to him when there.
The dragon amulet may be named that, but it is not part of the dragon set.

Am I supposed to get behind the locked door in the Rivertown Alchemist's house? You mean Walker? Where you buy the potions? Lockpick, enter quickly, drop a teleporter pyramid, get thrown out, teleport back in, plunder at leisure, don't forget your pyramid when leaving.
