Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) Help/Tips/Tricks question about game

I recently played Beyond-Divinity, and that was cool! Now I'm on to the first game, which I'm not liking to much. I went into this guys house and he killed for takin some stuff, is this going to continue to happen or am I suppose to kill the sob?? What I'm looking for is a complete walk-through for the game, since I have a feeling its going to be worse then Beyond-Divinity, not a website version but a downloadable version of one. Thanks!

This game is actually better than Beyond Divinity in my opinion. There's more freedom to do what you want. I haven't finished Beyond Divinity so I can't comment on the ending, though Divine Divinity's isn't the best. It's still a very fun game. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Actually, I was disappointed when they removed NPCs' reactions to stealing stuff right in front of them. If you wait until you are out of their sight, you shouldn't get caught. There is a way to cheat, however, which will make stealing almost as easy as in BD;

Keep a container in your inventory; opening it then drag and dropping items into it is not considered stealing by NPCs. Removing these items from the container the first time is considered stealing, so make sure you are alone when you do so.
