Larian Studios Forums Beyond Divinity (English) Help/Tips/Tricks Problem with charms

I am picking up a lot of equipment that says 'Charm Quality' and a number.

When looking at the items the charm slots are always crossed out, so unable to use charms.

Is this correct or is there a bug in the game. I am using the latest english patch.

Or will I pick up items later that will allow me to use charms on them

and thanks for the tip - have been getting rid of the items as didn't think could charm them.
