Larian Studios Forums Beyond Divinity (English) Help/Tips/Tricks Leaving the academy

Hi,

I've done everything required (also checked the walkthroughs to see whether or not i'm missing anyting too and i'm not), but when i click the rift wand to open second rift to leave the academy and go to final fight a voice says that i have no use for the want at this time. I'm in the right room and done everyting required as i said before but i can't leave the academy any idea why? Any help appreciated.

Have you done the following things:

- talk to the raanaar instructor
- opened a test rift
- entered the test rift
- gone back to talk to the instructor again
- closed the test rift
- clicked on the corpse of elder anlokar to get the coordinates for rivellon
- and finally gone to the room east of elder anlokar and clicked on the wand?

as long as you can see the Elder's corpse on the ground, you won't be able to move on. You have to talk to him (click on his corpse) until he vanishes completely and the ground is empty. Then you have everything Desdemona described.

Welcome to the club - I missed the poisoned tooth imp, searched for the paralysed imp corpses, Stignix, Hoxplox etc. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/delight.gif" alt="" /> - maybe you oversee the dead as I do?

I think the idea of let the dead care about the dead (or something to that effect) is a common idea... every quest that required me clicking on a body, required me to run to the forums and walkthrough's the first time i played BD (and the treasure map in DD sewers took me a while to find).

Even in real life i dont touch dead things... Hubby has to do the pest removal jobs, i will faint or something i am sure... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shhh.gif" alt="" /> some people have phobia;s about snakes and spiders... i have phobias about 2 things ONLY, dead critters and earthworms!!!!
