Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) General Divine Divinity rocks

Hi guys,

Just bought Beyond Divinity last week and got Divine Divinity as an extra for free <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Started playing with Divine Divinity and it rocks.

In the past I have played several RPG's and hack & slashers (including Sacred, Diablo, Dungeon Siege, Wizardry 8, Morrowind, Neverwinter Nights, Baldur's Gate and Icewind Dale). Each of them has it's own charms, but Divine Divinity is one of the best. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

It's a blend of both RPG and hack & slash, which I like very much. The others which come close in type of gamestyle are Sacred and Neverwinter Nights. DD rules both of them.

I'm currently busy with a level 10 mage, which I try to get to be both skillfull with magic and a bow & arrow. A archermage if you will <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> So far so good <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

This is the <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beyond.gif" alt="" /> Section! But I say DD ROCKS!!!

Well certainly.

Just arrived in River Town (level 17 at the moment) and my character (Lady Arwen) is doing alright. I'm exploring the sewers, and I found out those Lizards in there don't like my lightning that much <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devil.gif" alt="" />

I haven't been hooked on a game for a very long time, but DD has done it. And when I'm done with <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/div.gif" alt="" />(gonna take some time, since I read every conversation), then I'm gonna move to <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beyond.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />
