I am wondering / sugesting.....

Can we start a new section for our KNOWN bugs and how to fix it??

Known easy fixes, like Raze's Hexing tips (how to get yourself unstuck from behind a wall etc). The known BF issues, and also maybe duplicating the starforce, patch, similar posts to that section... and making the most common ones sticky, so that new users on the forum can find it quick and easy...

i'm sorry to say i don't think it would change anything...

people who doesn't know the forum and who have a question are quite generally mind-obsessed (i'm sorry the word may sound like pejorative in english but i employ it without any pejorative meaning, just because i can't find another) with their question... so i seriously doubt that for the most they even read other posts stickied or not...

please don't consider it is critical to anyone, just factual...

anyway i'm not sure it is really a great harm than questions are asked many times...

THere is no great harm to them asking the same questions adnausium, but i am sure that the people comming here because of a general game error, like the char stuck in a wall, will quickly look for a solution, and if he/she doesnt find it, proceed to yell bluemurder about the BUG in the game. If the solution was readily available when they were doing their quick glance (most people's version of a search) at the site, they would have (mostly), tried the solution quickly, and realising its no biggy, carried on with their lives, without first blaming starforce for the 2030 elections gone wrong (just a graphical explanantion of how much sense they make with their allegations some times), then proceeded to blame the nazzi's for the genocide that killed the one person in history that could make a game with no bugs in it, and then because we didnt reply within the first .1 millisecond, proceeded to scream and shout that the game is poorly done, etc etc etc , uninstall the game and throw it in the dustbin....

Having the most common small bug's solution very easily available, is a form of not only damage control on the small (and mostly harmless) bug's or common user mistakes, but also a way of making the people realise that their MAJOR issue, was most possibly their mouse that scrolled them out of the viewable screen (as in the black screen bug that is roaring across the forum often enough).

i'm agreeing you r probably somewhere right and anyway very funny, lady...

but what's the use of a new section if it isn't seen...

as i said before... if the focus is on asking a question... that the answer is already there wouldn't help...

You can make a thread in the help section with the links of the better answers about bugs like Raze's tips.
Then if it is a good thread, Lynn will put a sticky on it.

The new members would have the choice between reading your thread or asking a question.

I agree it's a very good idea. But it's also a lot of work !

Bon courage
