Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) Technical Problems Patch Help???

HI,
I have been playing DD quite a while.The only trouble I had was with saved games loading very, very slowly. So I thought I would download the new patch.I did so and now all the places that I had been to before are now all turned back to black.The flags are still there but everything is black again. Also the saved games load even slower than before. Any help would be appreciated. I really hope I don`t have to start over.

Please try defragmenting your harddisk.

No, I wouldn't do this. Please wait till tomorrow, until we know for sure what the cause is.
