Sorry if this has already been suggested...But the dolls make excellent storage containers. They are limited by how much they can carry, but even so when then are minimized in your inventory they weigh the same no matter what they have.
Hope this helps someone! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Yeah, I found this great ! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/up.gif" alt="" /> I put everything that's not too neccessary for the chars into the inventory of the dolls, and when the chars need something, they summon thier "mules" and take what they need. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/delight.gif" alt="" />

i have heard that you can put an empty treassure chest in your inventry and then put excess items in the chest. i tried it once but i don't think i did it right. try it and see if it works <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beyond.gif" alt="" />

In DD, a container could be used to steal, since NPCs didn't mind if you placed items in a container in your inventory, unlike taking them directly. Also, there was a bug where the weight was not updated right away when an item was placed in a container, so you could potentially carry much more than normal (though this could cause problems).

In BD characters don't care if you loot (the character AI for that was used to improve enemy AI), and the weight bug was fixed. Containers can help organize your inventory (say, if you want to carry all Raanaar manuscripts with you until you can read them), but I would try to find a low weight container to use.

The only way I could get this to work is by dropping the chest every time I wanted to use it. I couldn't get it to open while it was in my inventory. It was just too much hassle to have to drop it, put what I wanted into it, then pick it back up again. It was simpler for me to just dump everything into the barrels in the battlefields, whenever I happened to be there.

I FOUND A GOLDEN JUG AND IT LET ME DRAG IT INTO MY INVENTORY AND OPEN IT WITHIN MY INVENTORY. IT CUTS THE WEIGHT OF ITEMS IN HALF. DON'T MESS WITH CHESTS CAUSE THEY ARE TO HEAVY AND THIER WEIGHT ALONE EMPTY WILL RAISE THE TOTAL WEIGHT OF WHAT YOU ARE CARRYING WAY UP, WHERE AS IF YOU CAN FIND A LARGE GOLDEN JUG, THEY WEIGH ALMOST NOTHING. EXAMPLE: CHEST WEIGH 300 LBS EMPTY, THE JUG I FOUND ONLY WEIGHS 100.

A golden jug you say ? Interesting. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/think.gif" alt="" /> I think I'll test this. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />
