Since i've advanced to ACT IV my teleporter stones which were with me (i specificaly checked before going to next act, also got ACT III cutscene save to prove it) are gone. I've already advanced a couple of levels in ACT IV and cleared a couple of battlefields - can't find them anywhere. It is really annoying to have to run back and forth long distances, especialy in the BF dungeons when you can't carry any more and gotta go back several times to sell the garbage, without the TP stones. Can anyone please tell me if there should be teleporter stones in ACT IV, and if so - where can i find them?

It is by design that the teleporter stones are removed from your inventory as you enter act 4. The imp historian said he would be back for them, though there is no in-game cut scene or anything to explain that that was what happened.

Thanks for the info. It still doesnt answer my questions though - will i be able to find them somewhere in this ACT IV or not? And if so - where are they?

P.S. Raze there is hardly any thread on these forums you haven't answered.
BD & DD as well, which i played when it came out. And your answers are
always accurate and to the point. How do you know so much about these
games? Do you work for Larian Studios or something?

The imp historian has the teleporter stones. Unless a future patch changes things, you will not see them again.

I do not work for Larian, just played the games and followed the forum.

I say we all get together and take out a hit on the imp historian. Send me the cash and I'll take care of it...

aw man, you're kidding! no more teleporter stones? i'm hosed. there's no way i'm doing the bfs w/o them, and i'm about 7 levels down on spell power due to sinking the points into worthless summoning. what a pain. i wonder if i'll be able to finish the game like this?

I'm quite sure that we'll see the Imp Historian again (a third time) - in 2 !

chud, i got news for ya bud - you can unlearn any skill you've learned,
it'll just cost you some of that cash you carry...the higher your characters level is - the more it will cost, but it's still managable. I've had to unlearn quite a few spells during the game,as i have found some of them worthless...Don't learn trading or lockpick - they do absolutely nothing, i've had both @ level 10 - the buy/sell prices haven't changed 1 bit, and i couldnt unlock a single door in the game with level 10 lockpick. I would say individual/party healing is quite useless as well, it takes a long time to cast
heal during the battle and worthy opponents will hit you 2-3 times while you do that,to eliminate the effects of your healing. Potions are much better, just cary enough of red ones with you - they can be drunk instantly, during the pause.
The things i'd recommend to learn are:
Survival talents->survival->wisdom - it boosts your experience gain during battles and i think completing quests too(not sure)
Shaman magic->weather magic->Lightning Storm - very effective spell, kills all creatues in sight with 1-2 blows at high levels (i had lvl 18)
Warrior->craftmanship->sharpen weapon - once i've learned what that does - i fell in love with the spell. It made my sword able to cause like 270-450 damage with 1 hit (and i hadn't even had the skill nowhere near high level). There wasn't a live or dead creature throughout the remaining of the game that could withstand 1 blow with that sharpened sword. The only problem is once you sharpen it - weapon usage requirements go higher as well - you may need like 45 agility to use it, so save before you try anything...And the best part is - once you sharpen everything you need - you can just unlearn the skill and have all those points available for other things
And if you're worried about finishing the game...well, i don't wanna spoil it for you, but if you played DD and fought Josephina - BD's Damian fights like a virgin comparing to her... Cheers

The summoning doll upgrade skills can not be unlearned.

The trading skill works on a barter system, rather than discount. I believe you just need to offer less money for stuff you are buying, and depending on the amount and level of the skill, the trader will accept the deal. With all the gold available in the game, though (post patch), it is still not necessarily a great skill point investment.

like raze said - you can't unlearn summoning skills, which is a total bummer/rip. i've been putting as many points as possible into hammer and lightning storm, but as i said i got a lot in summoning before i found out a) it's pretty useless and 2) you can't unlearn them.

very cool to learn--did you like the whole summoning doll thing? I got to where I stopped investing either skill points or armor/weaponry on them and just didn't bother with them at all--and never missed them. What a waste!

Raze after what you said about trading skill i took an old save, unlearned some other skill and learned trading to level 10 just to test it - you're right, BF merchants would accept less gold than they offer their goods for...
It doesnt work vise versa though - i tried to sell them stuff while taking
more gold from them than they were willing to offer for my stuff
Too bad i didnt know about this sooner, would save me some money trouble, and boring to death trips to battlefileds, as i've invested several times all my cash into yellow runes, extra large crystals and skill unlearning
Cheers

That's where pickpocketing comes in handy!
