Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) Help/Tips/Tricks Just remembered a quest

Er, this may sound lame.

I am just about to bang the gong, had to revert to a previous saved game cos of problems with map blacking out, and all I have to redo is the holy weapon quest and the easter egg, ive deliberately left em till last and cleared up all the itty bitty quests and I have strolled past the talking tree, very angry tree, spitting out fireballs cos I nicked his herbs etc etc.

I suddenly remembered I can kill this but I have to have the tea, can't for the life of me remember where I get this from and what quest I have to start.

I have got the talking branch for Corinna and the herbs for the alchemist but Im sure he or she doesnt mention the tea.

Now I've gotta kill this just for the sake of saying I killed it and to get exp, I don't like leaving stuff undone.

I dont wanna know the exact location of this tea, but a general hint may help me jog my memory.

I'm impatient now, after losing two days worth of traipsing around cos of map and other probs with my machine which corrupted my save games. So bear with me. Ta

Have you by chance been pressing the capslock? that is the main reason I found for the map blackening out. I had the same problem and simply don't use it and I've never had the problem since, so that should fix it.

I can't help you with the tea because I don't know myself, I read a book or something that said you can kill it with tea but I haven't found the tea yet.

Sorry, don't know how to hint - errhm, look in Verdistis? Is this too spoilish?

There is NO quest to kill the tree, you may do it at your own wish. Remember a certain person telling you something about a missing dwarf? Do you know where?
