[color:"red"]FIRST...Good Day to ALL (and THX for HELP on this forum, I would go crazy if I ain't find this nice forum [/color]

1. First one: I RESURECT "IONA'S PET" that beholder thing to fight by my side (that red one on the picture up/right on forum BANNER) and it proves quite helpfull for the time being. But later on...I sleep in one bed so that creature would die (as every other do when go to sleep)...but it didn't. Nobody can kill that thing and now it even stop fighting, it just folow me and can't be hurt by anything. It's anoying to have this companion now because it gets on my way when I'm fighting and using lockpick skill, can't point anything to pick up or move at first (i must move around "item" before it moves a little away from me to pick something up). If anybody knows solution to this, please help me!

2. My LARIAN armor, when I put it on...it's shown on me as I got no armor at all on myself. Is it a bug, or just some glitch on my comp/game?

3. And one more question about armor/weapon/items...
Every plate/chain/other armor looks same when you wear it. Every sword/staff/axe look the same when you wear it. Except "STORMSCYTE" staff class weapon that looks exactly like it's picture in inventory in game, looks fantastic but stats are somewhat low for later use. My "question" is:
Is that only on my game that almost every armor/weapon looks same on you or it's just my game (I presume I ask STUPID question but it worth of trying)???
And if it's true that they look like I wrote abowe, why the creators of the game haven't use at least one weapon/armor look/efect from the "KNIGHT", "THUNGS" and "TROLL HUNTERS" because they look fantastic....at least for me. At least my character looks redicoulous compare to them.

That all...for now

Thanks for any reply and be well!!! *(sry 'bout my bad english)

welcome to the forum lurcher,

for lockpicking with a companion: press alt then the name of the thing to lockpick... i think many people had problems with resurrect companion not fighting but i don't know exactly why... maybe raze or kiya could say... apparently you have the survivor command skill for a companion, true?

maybe there is a glitch due to your computer config because i don't think that your prob with the larian armor is a well known bug... but i may be wrong... in the stats page what is your armor value when you're wearing larian armor please?
maybe there is some corrupted files... (is deleting the dynamic folder files ...Divine Divinity/Run/Dynamic... changing anything... not sure about it but anyway you don't take any risc if you do that...)

for 3 i may be wrong too but i think it's normal...

You can use the Banish spell to get rid of Iona's pet (Corrina teaches this as a reward after you successfully help her summon a demon). Alternately, you can cast Aura of Command on up to 5 more summoned or resurrected creatures (whatever level of the skill you have learned) to remove the pet.
There are a few creatures that do not die when you sleep, such as the skeleton summoner under the warrior's guild.

Some people prefer the Larian armour because it is invisible on the character.

The models in DD are 2D, so every unique character or piece of equipment needs to have a series of animations created for it. This is a time consuming process, which takes up a lot of disk space.
Beyond Divinity has a 3D character system, so can have may more unique types of characters, and equipment that looks different when worn. Despite having much more of the dialog spoken in BD, the install size dropped from 3 CDs in DD to 2 CDs in BD, largely due to much smaller file size for the 3D characters and items.
A few people have posted that they preferred some of the NPC characters' looks in DD to their own character, or that they wanted some of the things they had (like a cloak).

Thx for a quick and helpful answer both of you!

I got Banish spell and aura of command spell on my items (i think Dragon gloves got banish and Ruby Amulet got aura of command)...but BANISH spell don't work now on Iona's pet monster but worked on everybody else. Don't know what to do with monster, except finish the game with it. But I'll try backup/deleting that folder you mentioned!

Aha...so Larian Armor is invisible on character...now I know that

I guess it would make sense that armors and stuff are too complicated to implement on the character look so it would look like some NPC-s. But Yes, Cloak looks fantastic on "knights" in the warior guild, too shame you can't equip one on yourself in the game.

Did you try resurrecting more creatures and casting Aura of Command on them? You are only suppose to be able to have up to the level of that skill following you, so casting it on additional resurrected creatures should hopefully bump Iona's pet off the group following you.

Maybe if you learn Banish, it will work better than using it from an item bonus? It shouldn't make any difference, but it couldn't hurt to save and try it. If it works, you can use iZakaroN's SaveEditor (or from Kiya's site, with description) to remove the skill point you put into it, otherwise you can just reload.

I completed summoning quest and now have +2 banish skill, but that what you just mention don't work. I tried it already. Only thing left is to finish game with that monster by my side

Thanks for second sugestion...

p.s. Can you tell me few RPG games that I can find interesting, something like this here: Fallout serial (best so far), Baldur's Gate serial, Planscape Torment (2nd best RPG I ever played), Temple of elemental Evil (didn't like it), Neverwinter Nights (nice one),Dungeon Siege (good one, D2 clone in 3D) etc...
...Beside that sugest something that you like it and worth a try to play?!...

Thanks in advance!

A few people have run into a problem with summoned or resurrected creatures turning hostile, which in a couple cases fixed itself after the blessing ritual (towards the end of the game). Perhaps you will be able to banish Iona's pet after you get to the wastelands.

If you are comfortable hex editing, you may be able to teleport yourself away from Cyrion, or vise versa;

I'm already at wasteland and the creature is still with me...if it turns hostile while I'm polymorphed to (rabbit, spider, bug, cat) it just won't attack and I can't damage it. It's imortal. I tried with posion cloud to kill it, but nothing happend. It got half life bar, but it won't go any further beyond that. It will stay with me till I die or solve the game.

I'm just at RPG forum and reading some articles....thx for quick link.
