Hey there. I've tried searching for this on the forums but couldn't find anything, so I'm sorry if this has been posted before.

I've just finished DD and want to free up some space, but the uninstall program doesn't seem to work. I get the message:

"C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose 'Close' to terminate the application."

Clicking 'Ignore' is the same as clicking 'Close', as nothing happens in both cases.

Any ideas?

Thanks

You could try re-installing the game, to see if that will over-write whatever is causing the problem, and fix the uninstall.

Alternately, you can just delete the Divine Divinity folder and all subfolders. There is a small registry entry that you can also delete, if you are comfortable editing the registry, found at;
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\CDV Software Entertainment AG\Divine Divinity

BTW, there are separate forums for Divine Divinity and Beyond Divinity. If you posted in the right forum but 'DD' was a typo, you may also want to uninstall the StarForce drivers used by Beyond Divinity.

Thanks for the help. I used your delete folders and registry entry ploy.

Oops sorry.. I'm not in the correct forum. If moderators can move posts then this should be in the DD tech forum. Sorry about that.

I don't have Beyond Divinity yet, but Amazon have informed me that it is en route.

Thanks again!
Byeeeee
