Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) Help/Tips/Tricks Want to kill the imp council member!!!!!!

I have progressed to the point of finding the [nocando] imp council member <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/memad.gif" alt="" />(a long time ago!!!!!!!) <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/memad.gif" alt="" /> When he asked me to touch his crystal I refused. He said to come back later when I was ready. I have been back hundreds of times, and all he says to me is "what are you doing in my room?" the only option it gives me is to leave.
If anyone can help me it would be appriciated. You will be saving whats left of my hair.LOL

FIX for broken Imp Council Member quest

This bug was fixed in the latest patch, though I think only in games started after the patch is installed. The technical fixes, extra quicksave, etc are applied retroactively, so I would still recommend installing the patch if you have not already done so.

If you had started the game after installing the patch you would not have run into this bug. The workaround link I posted will fix the problem in your current game, without needing to start over.
