I am in the pits of despair.... as of the end of this week (15 oct'04) i will not have internet for a WHOLE month <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cry.gif" alt="" />

My business is moving to new premises, and our telephone company cant move the lines for another month still <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/puppyeyes.gif" alt="" />

I love this country, the only thing that we are sooo far behind on, is telecommuncations.... the one thing i REALLY need <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/disagree.gif" alt="" />

But as soon as the lines are moved, i will be back......

Not too worry ... Lady_Rain, I have been in the same situation with phone lines here in Aus, I remember to get a phoneline connected used to take anywhere from 6 - 8 weeks, then we got more than 1 phone company and things seemed to have changed slightly <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

Lady Rain I think that this is a good chance to miss us and further more make some long walks or go out with friends or do whatever you like without a pc.
Still you will be the most welcome when you get back.

by the way, my house has no phone line yet. imagine that i have to link to the net telepathically every time. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/silly.gif" alt="" /> really hurts my head & made me into some kind of ugly argumentative git. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" />

I just wish we will get another telephone company in here SOON.... i have sympathy with aus if it also takes 6-8 weeks.... same here.... except for i have ordered this line 4 weeks ago.... and they CANT even tell me if the order has been approved yet.... they still "validating" it <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/disagree.gif" alt="" />

But while i am still at the office.... i will put up a fair fight to get this done quickly..

And yes i do live in a beautyful country.... but unfortunately i wont be able to abuse the "offline" time to go see any of it... i will have to get into my little car and drive around to see clients... (and if there is anything WORSE than the telephone company.... its the taxi drivers)

But soon i should be back.... i just cant wait to get out of the office, and to get my lines and start LIVING....
