Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) Technical Problems Cant find Eolus

hi guys, it's been a while since i've played this game, hence the fact that im not around much, but i've gone through pretty much almost every quest in the game now and i have to find the last council member, the Dwarven Council member.

the problem is that i know he should be in Glenborus, but i cant find him. from what i remember he should be the short dude wearing the white robes or something in Glenborus. but the axe still isnt missing yet and the guy isnt in the city that will trigger the quest to go down into the dwarven mines.

am i forgetting to do something? whenever i scry for him in the council of seven, both my character AND Zandalor both have no idea who he is or where he is. he looks likes he's in a field somewhere, killing something cause there's a little pile of blood on the floor near him, i believe. but again, im clueless. no idea whats going on. talked to the dwarven king, he tells me nothing. im stumped, been searching around for a couple of days now. anyone able to help out?

normally he is before the strange monument in the dwarf village north east to the castle... i think he's susceptible to walk a bit around...

yeah from what i remember he was nearby the giant axe hanging on the giant slab of stone, but i wandered all around there and i cant seem to find him. i'm about to search again, but this'll be my 20th time or so, and i doubt there'd be a difference...

err sorry this is probably a very silly question but have you found the 5 other members (well all except the elf) before?
i think you can't find eolus before the 3 or 4 first members...
i'm not even knowing for sure it would make a difference...

yeah i think you're right about that, not being able to find him till afterward, but i do have all the members of the council of seven except for the dwarf.

the orc, the human, the imp, the elf, the wizard, and lizard.... no dwarf though...

He will be there as soon as the vision in the scrying stone changes - and he is the 5th member you can recruit in version 1.0034. If you haven't recruited 4 before him, the vision will not show him.

IIRC, in earlier versions you could recruit him as you wished, but I'm not sure which version (German or English) was the "free" one.
