I have been reviewing other RPG games and came accross this one and was wondering what others think about it. Dragons Age. From what I have read so far it looks like it might be a good game. From makers of NWN and all I think if they can stay on the same line that it will be very very good RPG game.

Here is the link that I found to get info on it. Would like to get others opinions as to what they think about it.

it looks good... and i think if they really make what was announced (different beginning points for the different races... open endings etc...) it could be a very good RPG indeed... well not so much is known for the moment i think... so wait an see!

I have to agree with you. From waht I have read and seen if they stay on the line they are talking about it will be a very great game. So far the graphics I have seen look awesome. I hope that they can keep it up in the game itself. I also hope that they do make it where you can really customize your character to fit your desires, so far it sounds like they will, so I hope they do.

Plainly put, I have yet to see Bioware release a major flop.

It seems everything they touch turns to gold.
Do they have Midas hiding around somewhere with them? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/think.gif" alt="" />

as does blizzard.

when companies listen to their market, as what bioware & blizz do on their forums, they are bound to make good, if not great, products.

on whether dragon age will be worth it, when the time comes, we will know.

I have to say that the scenery looks specatular....

I think its one to watch..i especially like the possible potential friendship/rivalary between party memebers and the fact that there are more races then the usual elf, dwarf, human races to choose as your character.

yup and they are known as: Greg Zeschuk & Ray Muzyka
But I agree entirely with you Ky, even when I think back to Black Isle (now Obsidian) and still think Fearghus Urquhart is really part of the team albeit, once removed <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
So here is waiting for NWN2, Dragon Age and DD2 <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

Sometime late 2006 maybe early 2007.

It will be a new one of a kind game with a brand new Engine. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

boy, that's a lot of waiting there. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

in addition to those titles you mentioned, i'm also looking forward to dungeon lords and dungeon siege ii. i know the first dungeon siege was very linear despite the fact that it looked great & that you won't see a single loading screen. but the developers have apparently listened to criticisms and they've promised to deliver a much better game. remains to be seen though, but the screenies look gorgeous.

But isn't three years worth the wait to play a quality game?

I know I'd gladly wait an extra year or two, for games like DD2 that are coming out in the future, if they needed to tweak the game a bit more.
