This involves the duplicating trick (quick save/ quick load) with any container.
Container is any barrel/box/item that has an inventory (but for this to work, it must fit inside your inventory)

Once the container is in your inventory, quick save, then drag it out as you would any other item you would duplicate (holding the mouse button down and not releasing), and quick load with the button still down. Wait for the game to load, then drop it on the ground.

At this point you should have a container in your inv and on the ground.

now open the one on ground and put any item inside it. walk away from it and open your inv and the container inside. there is your item. Take the item out and set it on the ground, then walk back to your other container and open it. the item is not in the barrel.

How does the game do that?

basicly when an item is duplicated, it duplicated the item exactly, including the memory location of its contents. And when accesing either of the containers, the game opens the same inventory list. when the list is modified, it saves the list. so when the list is accessed from one then the other, the item can "magicly" be pulled out of any barrel used in this dupe.

There are also containers that share a common inventory without using the duplication trick;

connected containers?
