GUYS, GUYS, GUYS What have you done? when the orig Divine Divinity was released
serious gamers like myself though great a truly exellent role play fantasy D+D
game perhaps even a contender for the spot held by Baldurs Gate, we shall have to see. So we waited and then at last came Beyond divinity so like orcs with an itch to scratch we went and purchased what could have made the game top of the list. WHAT HAPPENED! It started well enough in the dungeon then went a little flat to say the least.
Samuel reminded me of a talking bat, Asmodeus a pig and what in the world made you dream up Tibars, worms with bug eyes for pities sake,
As for the quests (sorry but they were a joke)and what happened to Zandalor, the council of seven, dwarves, orcs, elves, villages, people, wizards, witches, decent armor, weapons, landscapes, bandits, assasins, all gone no real dialogue the lot gone finito, vanished, dont get me wrong for the sunday brigade and those new to this type of game it had its appeal, but to those of us who play these games nintey percent of the time what a waste, I played this game through three times as a warrior as a wizard and as a survivour in all three senarios all I needed was bone armor a sword of sharp teeth and a reasonable necklace, hack and slash were the word of the day and hey presto game compleated.
Sorry Guys but in my humble opinion you have blown it big time Divine Divinity (the orig) went to no2 this game rates somewhere between off the scale and infinity(in other words the bin)You could have had a winner what you got is a bad case of off the scale mind bending tush.
