Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) General orc enclosure and dwarven demon Pol? Help. please

I keep getting stuck in the Dwarven Halls. Hear about demon Pol but can't figure out how to get farther into the mines than the first set where I killed
everthing.
Also can't get by orc enclosure! Have tried several ways but I keep getting killed. I never knew it could be boring but the 7th time it is. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/silly.gif" alt="" />
I know but me.

astraight walkthrough doesn't help much because evev though the game is easy;
it soon is very complex.

This sounds to me as if these areas are still blocked ... they get un-blocked by rdeceiving the appropriate quests - collection of the council of 7. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

Yes, Alrik is right - both instances get unlocked only after you receive the respective quests, both of which are in relation to gathering the council of seven after you rescued Zandalor.

So that is why my character kept running into the wall! I did manage to get
the orc shaman in 1-2 days of battle. I still have quests for Verdistis so I'll go back there.
Thank you. Without this forum, I'd maybe? gotten through but only on the shallow level and missed most of the neat things.
