Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) General Accursed Abbey

I am using a Level 14 Mage and have cleared the above ground level of the Abbey but when I hit the first level below I am killed all the time by chain lightning or something like that. I have tried recharging my health and have some armor and a ring that increases my resistance to lightning but all fails. Is there something I am missing or maybe I need to come back when I get a few more levels up. Thanks! By the way, I am really enjoying tis game. A good job on the development of this!

Level 14 is a little low for that area; it is easier in the high teens or early twenties. What are your resistances?

AMBER Level 14 Mage
Strength - 33
Agility - 31
Intel - 23
Const - 26

Lightning - 3
Fire - 2
Poison - 0
Spirit - 12

Reputation - 7

Sill building but have solved a lot of quests already but this one it appears I need to boost the Lightning compared to Spirit. Thanks for the reply Raze!
