Very good story that's for sure.

Gameplay at the start was too hack 'n slash but later on evolved into puzzlish and needing to use your brain a lot more which made the gameplay fun.

Despite my bug which was caused and overcome by alt-tab there was no other show stopper.

I have a few questions about the Raanaar.

I assume most of the Raanaar population escaped into other worlds?

Damien said that he will give off the position of the Raanaar rebels to his demon friends. Will that make any difference because the diamond is put back together?

Is the Raanaar homeworld lost forever?

Why couldn't I have been included at the end of Divine Divinity? I just want to kill the demon [nocando] Damien as a baby and I would have the guts to do it too.

i liked the movie at the end but the funny thing is i never beat the game

Spoiler : all you have to is go into the games files like savegames and stuff like that go to the bottem and play the movie at the bottem and boom you are watching the games ending without beating it

but now i hate myself because i watched it and i didn't know what it was until i watch the ending and then i realized i was watching the end and i hate why it is there but u should move that somewhere else but u might stall the game at the end so as long as u read this dont play the movie and before u beet the game you will all ok and you wont ruin it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

War does not determine who is right, it determines who is left.

We all wish we could change events.... if i could have the last 7 years over, i would probably be an ambassadory 4 years ago already!!!, but alas, 2 years to go

And dont worry too much about Damien for now, i am sure we will ALL get the chance to kick some Damien (_x_) in DD2

Your existence alone, is excuse enough for the creation of the entire universe… Il you my darling Jeanne-Dré 

I dont know how many of the ranaar escaped, if their home-realm is destroyed forever or what.... but i am sure that Damien will have his little evil paws too full in DD2 to bother about telling the Demons of the ranaar location.

And if the gameplay cant keep Damien busy enough in DD2, i am sure you and i will take it upon ourselves to keep him occupied

You know, I did the same thing. And now I relaize what happened. And now I have no reason to want to beat the game.

After beating Damien my character escapes into a portal.
Is that a bug? Or does my character go back to the Raanaar homeworld?

Does Damien have the crystal at the end?

You go into the battlefields on the main menu.

Unless Anlokar wrote more than one Rivellon destination in your book of coordinates, the portal would have to be back to the Raanaar world or one of the places that would be in a student's book. The hero could be going for help, with Damian intending to build a power base to try to get revenge on the Divine One (presumably in DD2), or to help the Raanaar rebuild, since he/she was part of the group responsible for Damian being there in the first place. If it wasn't just a portal to the after game battlefields, we may find out the destination in DD2.

I would assume story-wise the crystal remains in the Raanaar temple to protect that world from demons. That was how it was described in the dialog near the end of act 3, even though the crystal remained in your inventory when you moved to act 4.

Couldn't Damien override the crystals power and send demons into the world?

Damien said he would tell the demons where the rebel hideout is.

Demons can still exist on the Raanaar world with the crystal there, they are just not invulnerable.
