I have a question. What does the golden catacombs armor in the Raanaar academy do? There's probably some obvious answer to this, but I've only completed the game once and I would like to know. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/div.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/exclamation.gif" alt="" />

Where did you find it? I don't recall any special function armour in act 4.

It's in, what would you call it? The basement I suppose. It's a litlle bit after the rooms where the Raanaar goddess tests you. And, I believe you can't go into any of the rooms close to it because I think one of them will take you to another area and you won't have a chance to go back for it. It's a little complicated, especially since I haven't been that far in months. I really don't remember it well except that it's in an empty room, and it's around the time that the Raanaar elder takes you somewhere else. This is near the end of act 3, in the catacombs under the temple church.
On the fifth and final level of the catacombs there is a catacombs armour on the floor in the room just after you enter, which you need to click on to proceed (it triggers the appearance of the Black Bishop, who's defeat opens the door south).

Just after that the Raanaar goddess will give you a quest to find 3 symbols, the Raanaar summoning doll can be restored, and after the final encounter with the necromancer, you are teleported to the entrance to the academy.

So the catacombs armor is nothing? Tricky bastards. It makes me a tid bit angry. Well, thanks for the help anyways... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/div.gif" alt="" />
