Larian Studios Forums Beyond Divinity (English) General well....

I've had DD since it's first release in 2002, and it's a shame to admit, I haven't even finished it...and now, there's Beyond Divinity, is it's story line connected? and I heard the DD came with BD in the package...how true is this? any answer would do...thanks...

p.s. must i finish the original DD to fully enjoy this game?

BD happens 20 years after DD. The story is connected, but not in a way essential to the plot, except for background history. There are characters, locations and references you would recognize if you played DD, but that's about it.

There is a version of BD that comes with DD, which should have a sticker/graphic on the box to state this. see;
