Larian Studios Forums Beyond Divinity (English) General Permanent Potion is not....

Hello Everyone,

Here is a problem I'm running into, if you know anything about it, help would be appreciated.

I got the permanent intellegence potion from the lich cave but when I use it, the effect runs aout afer 80 seconds (same as a temp potion).

Does anyone know why it would do this?

That is a bug. When I checked this in an earlier version, the effect would last until another potion was used, rather than last 80 seconds. Apparently fixing this would involve changing files the Larians didn't want to change in the latest patch, or would potentially cause other, more serious problems.
