having only bought this game the other day, and already one is stuck, how do i get past the dude fergus? every time i get hom down to a possilbe kill he charges himself up with a potion....... help please! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beyond.gif" alt="" />

k first theire have been many topics about killing fergus (try the search function). Help can't kill fergus thread

also the Beyond Divinity Strategy Guide has been released and is free for download, I believe theire is also a section about fergus in it.

and also, Fergus only heals himself once IIRC. You can try strategies like, sneaking up to him, hit and run, ranged attacks etc.

The "Lead" character who's portrait has the gold edging (the other will be plain white), is the character that Fergus will attack, so if your one character is weaker (or takes damage easier) than the other, keep this in mind. You can change the "leader" by pressing F5 and Select both Characters by pressing F4.

I'd recommend having lots of health potions, if you have about 4 it shoulds be enough to help you kill fergus

Btw there is a health potion in the room right before you fight fergus, its at the top left of the room and is barely sticking out from behind something
