1st: it gets better after act 1 (act one is linear to have a learning curve)
2nd: Yes it's different the DD. Is this a bad thing. Depends on your personal taste.
3rd: So you can catch up to when DD˛ comes out.
4rt: If your stuck, there is a huge strategy guide.
5th: a lot of humor on BD

Well it depends on your personal taste actually. There are elements I don't like of BD but also alot of improvements. It's like in DD when you leave the town you start in and then you realize how huge the game is.

You have seen about 20% of act 1

Act 1 (smallest act of 4): inside in a dungeon
Act 2: Outside Impvillage
Act 3: Outside near citadel
Act 4: inside

I agree with Morbo.
It's depends of what you're expecting in the game and on your personal taste.
In this forum a lot of people really appreciated Beyond Divinity.
In the other side, some other people were deeply disappointed by this new game.

In my opinion the game is a little more linear than Divine Divinity because the story is divided in 4 acts.
But like Morbo said there are a lot of really good improvements in this new game.
I had a lot of fun playing Beyond Divinity.

About your signature : the picture is really beautiful but maybe a little too big.
I know what i am talking about because my own pic is the biggest one which is allowed by the forum rules.

Yes, please make your signature smaller.
Do not exceed 125 x 600 pixels and/or 35k for a signature image. This will ensure that the forums load quickly for all users.

Thanks,
Lynn
