Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) Technical Problems Reappearing quests

Ok another bug on my hand. I have 2 quests that was done that just reappeared in my quests to do. They are The Elven Scroll teleporter quest (must find the guy in the Archer's Guild) and the quest "To Rivertown" about Marcus wares and the black market. I've done those quest and now when I loaded a game recently they are still there. When I go talk to Marcus, I can only say "See you later" like if the quest was done but still in the quest journal. Same thing with the dude in the Archer's Guild. And I have the scroll cause I can activate any of the Elves teleporter.

Weird.

Anyone have a clue?

Yes, this is the "black map" problem...
Only a few people are encountering this problem.
We are currently trying to look what those circumstances are and will release a fix the moment we find out how this can happen.

Ah... What's strange is that there's no black on my maps. I can see all where I've been before.

But most likely it has the same cause...
Black maps: they have been there before, but now it's black again.
And you solved the quests, but they are open again.

We are looking into the problem.

Hey you were right. The map is all black now in Rivertown area. But I REALLY REALLY HOPE that the next patch (1.34 ???) will fix this so that we don't have to run all over the place to retrieve the map back. I hope that the map that we've seen will be correct. Man, this game really should have been called Instable Instability (sorry, I couldnt resist). ;-)
