Larian Studios Forums Beyond Divinity (English) Help/Tips/Tricks How do you split items? Example: 50 traps to 25

My paladin is the one that can make traps and he is carrying about 60 traps and I'm overweight so I usually give items that I don't need to my summoning doll until i get to a merchant to sell but I want to use some of the traps so how do I split them and leave myself with at least 15?

before you click on the item in your inventory... hold down the Control button... then click on the item and drag it to where you want it to be (in this case the floor, so that your other char can pick it up.

There will now be a little window open asking you how many you want to move.
You can also move them between the 2 char's inventories, if you open 1 inventory, then move the window and then click in the other char and click in the inventory button (pressing i wont work).

You can also hold the control key down just before dropping a stack of items to get the split stack window.

Yes, it does. I can open an inventory window, switch leaders (via hotkeys or clicking on a portrait) and open another inventory window with the I hotkey.

or just drag and drop whatever it is, right on the portraits head....it will find it's way into the inventory... it's quicker than opening a window... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

Strange... That is how my skill window works, but then you are not suppose to be able to open multiple skill windows.
Maybe try changing the hotkey, and see if that makes any difference.
