You didn't know??? Ohh, hopeless
Just kidding I've read the review, I will not hurry with that, they say it is pretty much like the first KOTOR, i.e. lots of speaking, corridor walking and fighting, no no I don't say developers haven't succeeded making this game a success, but.. I, personally, am looking for a change, for something different, something like Guildwars.
PS Yesterday completed HL2

Does different taste from yours make me an idiot? Ohh well.
I enjoyed HL2 as I liked MOH, both Unreals, RTCW, DOOM, Halo, Quake, Blood, what else, to make it short, say any top rated FPS made by strong team - I played and mostly enjoyed it.

i may be wrong as i've neither try it nor even buy it but i don't think it would. As i've understood the first it is more made for being an (excellent, Imo) ambiance game that a challenging one.... think it would be the case for the second too.

Never played KotOR2, but I heard that it's more of the same. Keeps all the Highs and Lows of the first.

Übereil I do like FPS's, and I do like some of them very much. I am adult enough not to start another insult each other thread, but I want you to know that I usually become angry when people say I am an idiot, even such young and unexperienced onces. This is a warning for you Ybereil, start thinking about what your fingers are typing.

I thought to myself (more or less ) . I knew it was about to be publihed in the next time, but I actually didn't know when this was !

Yeh, i like HL2 too
Love the gravity gun in the last levels and the cute doggy Altough i think that the buggy doesn't drive good :-/, but there are lots of memorable levels in HL2

Ha, how many games you know where there is just one single weapon at the end???? none, except HL2. Tossing mobs and throwing junk at enemies was fun. Buggy uff, I was dissapointed I couldnt drive armored car. That pet robot was awesome!

I bought this game after I read this thread the day Ube posted it.
[bad things]
Compared to the first PC version of KoTOR, since I have no idea what the Xbox version looked like, its Graphics are not as good. The NPC and Character Art work is excellent, but the Art work outside of that is not as good as the original KoTOR. Some of the game movies could have been time lapsed / shortened via linking slide show clock hand method and would have still held the same impact. There are also a few bugs in the game. Two of them are missing sound in some of the connecting movies and dialog flipping past in a blink making it impossible to read. The dialog bug doesn’t happen often and so far hasn’t been in key dialog points. Also, KoTOR II is a slight bit linear in its play, but not quite as linear as the original KoTOR.
[good things]
KoTOR II loads 100% faster than KoTOR. The same holds true for movie scene load times too.
It also requires much more thought into its play. Obsidian geared KoTOR II much more to the adult side of thinking and reasoning. Some quests require a bit of thought, similar to well made Adventure games for the computer.
But what makes KoTOR II much better than KoTOR is the depth of the story and that of the Character and NPC’s. Playing KoTOR II is almost like reading a very good Mystery Novel that you cannot put down. The story is deep and thought provoking and how it turns out while playing and the ending all depends on your actions and dialogs choices. Every action and dialog choice in KoTOR II causes a reaction and a shift in the NPC’s who are part of your party. They either start liking you more and more or they start hating your guts. It is amazing on how much suspense and intrigue that is in this game. There is tons and tons of interacting dialog in this game. You had better like reading if you play KoTOR II, because this game is Story Driven 100%. Character and NPC dialog interactions do not automatically que you to talk to them in KoTOR II like in KoTOR. You have to actively talk to them to further dialogs. And sometimes dialog already done can be different later in the game if you ask it again.
End thought:
Graphics / art work and bugs aside, I consider KoTOR II to be a [color:"yellow"]Far Superior[/color] game over the original KoTOR. If you like a story driven RPG with a deep, intriguing story that is geared more towards adults, then you’ll love KoTOR II: The Sith Lords.

Tsel: I could deal with that, I think (YES!!! He shoots, he scores ).
I havn't got to start yet, I was going to play this weekend, but then I thought "well, first I'll only play a DotA game", and then I ended up playing DotA the entire weekend .
