Larian Studios Forums General Chat Chat (Anything) I mean no offense

Is it wrong to share oneself here at Larian?
Is it wrong to share the things that we enjoy,
the things that make us feel good with one another here at Larian?
Is this not a forum where we come together and enjoy and share each others company?
Is it right for other members here to chase off newer members
just because they don’t like them?
(I’m speaking within reason, Trolling and Explicit posting aside.)

March is a very dark month for me and I apologize for being so gloomy as of late.

That aside, my friend was sent PM’s to stop posting, that they are to optimistic, and that they need to stop posting after themselves, but what is wrong with posting after yourself if a day has passed.

Several PM’s were personally sent to them chastising them on those above things!
Man, what is going on?
I’ve kept up in the back ground here at Larian since the early part of 2003.
And many people have changed here.
Not all, but many.
It’s like people are afraid to be close to anyone any more here.
That pains my soul.
Especially when I know you all are so good inside.
I don’t just say that, I know it; because I’ve followed you all for so long.

Still curious what friend you are talking about... I can imagine who it is, and I'm cool with it, I wish no one to leave, but it's still a little difficult to really state your oppinion on something when you don't know what to state your oppinion about.

People are friendly with all the new members but the real friendship is something different.
I can't be close to someone i do not know.
In my own opinion friendship needs time.

I know some members in this Forum.
And, most importand for me, a few good enough to say that he/she is a friend.
I do not need to know every thing about my friends here, in RL it`s the same. There are only few people i can say i know them good how my self.
But i know who is likeable for me, and if this feeling is based on mutuality? reciprocity? , i can say i had a friend more in this World.
And here is it the same.
Tsel you are one of these People, i do not know you in real Life, and, maybe we will never go and drink a Beer together, but i still like you and your friendly kind.

This is a forum. So we also should be able to talk about things we don't like so much.
Or are a bit uneasy.

The strenght of this forum and people on this forum is that we deal with it. And I guess that's what Tsel ment.

From the first post I could tell what this was from. From the friend repeating and stuff. A forum is a hard place to get along in, you don't see eye to eye with people, can't tell what they mean by doing things. I am glad now that I did not take action in any of this, wether it would be negative or positive.
