Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) General Divine Divinity 2... will there be one?

Since I dearly loved Divine Divinity, I stop by here every few months hoping to see some info about the sequel. But my search of forums has netted nothing for ages. I know at one time Larian had planned on a DD sequel, but give it to me straight. Has it been cancelled or tabled? If so, what has Larian been working on since Beyond Divinity came out? I've honestly tried to find out, but clearly I'm not too good at doing web searches in multi-lingual sites. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/disagree.gif" alt="" />

Larian si currentlly working on a DD2, and IIRC a "secret project". There are several threads about DD2 btw.

Yep Larian is working on Divinity 2 and another secret project.
Nothing has been cancelled.
But i guess they are working hard on these two projects and they have not a lot of time to comment about them.

Have a look at the announcement section.
There are very few info about the games for instance the new engine for Divinity 2.

Larian has also updated his homepage for his upcoming great announcements.

Thank you for the responses. I really did use the search function, but came up with only DD2 information from a year ago. There was nothing that I found in the past six months, and I never have found anything to give me a hint about when Larian planned to release DD2.

I had already read the announcements section about the new engine purchase, but still didn't know what project the engine was planned for.

Anyway, sorry if my question annoyed anyone. I shall go back to checking in every few months to see if more information about DD2 has become available. Thanks again for the information... and Barta, nice to see you again!
