I was about to write that "unfortunately if you did not get the key while you were in that dungeon....... " and then i remembered that lockpick is fixed.....
So at least now you can get the fairy dust easily enough, as discribed in the link stone posted. Please note that you have to DRAG and DROP the fairy dust into your inventory and into the place where you find the amulet...
