the best for me is
old rivertown.ogg
i don't know where this came from since i didn't even get halfway through the game yet.

just in time for ale.ogg
the guitar sounds so good, im going to search for the tabs for this song so i could play it on my guitar. this is the song that you hear when you go to one of the taverns but not in the main bar but the other rooms.

thanks raze(?) for uploading your sound extractor. =)

I like the music of Verdistis. Because, it reminds me, when I was around 16 years old (now I am almost twice older), it reminds me King Crimson's - In the Court of the Crimson King (1969). Please, correct me if I am mistaken.
I love that music.

I like zamok 8mc.mp3 from the Larian's downloads pages (Divine Divinity music and Christmas / New Year present). Voin.mp3 and fightdrums3.mp3 are ok also.

"thanks raze(?) for uploading your sound extractor."

That would be the Divine Divinity Music Extractor by BrainBox. I've downloaded it, but have not gotten around using, sorting and maybe burning it onto CD.

Ha, he is the guy from Aria, yes, I know them, never liked them though. I liked punk and soviet undeground (close to alternative like King Crimson).

the music in DD is great so far. Favorites so far is the Main Theme and
the Cursed Abbey. The sudden change from the mild Farmlands sounds to the drum-beating was such a mood setter right there (in cursed abbey).

Verdistis' music is also great, especially if it's quiet for awhile and it starts up again. Oh yea, not sure if all Inn music is the same, but the tune that appeared now and then was very catchy too, almost kind a happy sing-along tune.

The song "Old Rivertown" is not played anywhere within the game. They once wish to have one big city for Rivertown and that was the song for it and they changed their mind and broke it up into different parts.

My favourite songs are War and Peace (music in Verditis), the piece played in Dark Forest (Not Zanaldor's Run), the music at the garden of bees and the wasps, and the council hall.

All of the music in this game is GREAT!! It's hard to pick a favorite. I guess it would be the main theme and Voin, http://www.larian.com/Site/music/Voin.mp3 I love the way the music intertwines perfectly into the scenes. It draws you right in and keeps you there!!

Yes, the music is great. Even, after I uninstalled the game I still listen and enjoy this music.

My favorite music is the council of seven. There are two themes there, one is dramatic and one sounds a little more playful. I like the dramatic piece. When the Divine Blessing began the music really made the scene a lot better.

The game has amazeing music. Does anyone know how the music was made? Some tracks sound like synth but some others sound real... id like to think it was so. I love games with good music.. Like the tristram theam from diablo1, and with all of diablo 2 the blizard music guy got a bunch of bizar ethnic things even for the background music, and really did it all, i think even the voice in one of the old b-net tracks was a real human *he had a sort of semi-weekly article about how he made the music* That is acualy one of the reasons im a diablo fan... With out good music even the best game is crap, and with good music even a medicore game can be amazeing.

Anyway i remember the music downloads where one of the things that convinced me to get this game. Music is verry important, you can do things with music that you cant do with words.. its like the perfect form of expression, and it really makes all the differance.

The track for Verdistis is "War and Peace" -- I think it's downloadable from the site.
