I recently bought a new copmputer so I better play Beyond Divinity, but I came across a problem. During the instal part of it, it stops at the Raan Skeleton part and states an I/O error giving two opitions, retry or abort. After several tries at retry, abort is the only thing left to do. I don't have Norton or McAFee running to mess it up, and I've also tried restarting my computer. The back of the first disk is not scraped or markings of any sort. Any ideas, please let me know. Thanks!

Are you shutting down all non-essential programs before starting the game? Anti-virus programs are one of the main sources of conflicts with installations, but other background programs can do so as well.

Do you have a different optical drive you can try?

Try holding the shift key down as you insert the CD (to bypass the autorun feature), then copy the files off both CDs to the same folder on your hard drive, and install the game from there.
