Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) General The Dwarven Council member.

Okay after getting the quest to restore the 7 council members im supposedly supposed to find a dwarf in the dwarven village in front of the shrine looking thing. I go there and find nothing. I only need to get the lizard, the dwarf, and the elf to finish this quest. Please don't tell me that my game is bugged and he didn't appear?

If I recall correctlly you'll have to do the counsilmembers in a specific order. The dwarf is the sixth member, so he'll appear when you've finnished the elf and lizard. Don't remember if the lizard or the elf is first though, but I'll reccomend to try to get these members first, then see if the dwarf is at the statue <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />.

Actually, you can successfully scry for the dwarven council member after you have recruited at least 5 other members, so he can be 6th or 7th.

Other than that the order doesn't matter, though the easiest ones to do would be Mage, lizard, human, and orc (who is very easy if you have already cleared the south east corner of Rivertown). The imp council quest is relatively short as well, though I left that one until last [<span class='standouttext'>Spoiler : </span><span class='spoiler'>to take best advantage of a jug there that gives you a level up.</span> (highlight the text to read)]. The end of the elf quest can be tough, so it would usually be better to do that as one of the last council quests.
