Hey...

Firsty, My operation system is Win98SE, I'm using P4 1.7, 256mb ram, GF4 Ti 4200. Directx ver: 9.0 I'm usin no-cd patch. Patch ver:1.33(english patch 1.0)

First, I open diary and I can see map very well but after clicking other options(e.g conversations etc.), I cannot see map again. The conversation section remains on the screen. And I cannot use map again until reset the game.

Other problem is I can see only very blue background and some monsters on Automap. I can't see things that surrounds me.

Try removing the no-CD hack and make sure your desktop colour depth is set to 16 bit.
If you have a lot of conversations in your log, it can take a while to switch. Have you tried the 'A' hot key to bring up the map again?

I removed the no-cd crack. but it didn't work. Colour depth is already 16 bit. Hmm but I haven't tried second suggestion yet. It may work i think.

I have similar problem to yours.
But I've already tried those troub;eshooting procedures and still cannot fix this error. Could you say what exactly you did to restore auto and mini maps ?

Hope you're still comming to this forum and can (and wish of course) answer me.

use the ' A ' key to bring up your automap and try to close them open the minimap again using the ' M ' key...se if it works
