When is it going to be released? Has anyone played the XBOX version? What's it like'?

PC version is due out Sept. 20 in the USA, which is next week. X-Box version of Fable: TLC is due anytime from Oct-December.

well, I played this game for about 8 hrs I guess and I don't like it. The game is OK, but just 2 much annoying things in there. for instance the fact that you can "lock" your target also on friendly chars. (some kind of warning there might have been nice). it works fine if the game doesn't lose the lock on enemys, but sometimes in hectic battles I had to re-lock and then I targetted the char I was suposed to defend. sucks

I really enjoyed the original version on the Xbox...all 8 hours of it!
My brother has bought the new one for the PC and finished it ALL in 11 hours!

I loved it. It is a fun game with some interesting ideas (emotes, trophies, Daemon Doors, Silver Chests...). The storyline is heavily scripted and there aren't any branching paths, however I just enjoy the dreamy feel and the british humour and that's enough for me to replay it.

The game is too easy, IIRC I finished it in 10 hours and 30 some minutes. The boss which was the final boss of the original fable, was even harder for me than the dragon boss which is the final fight of lost chapters. When you have a warrior build, and take the magic spell called multiple strike or something (which will let you have like 5 or 6 blows each hit) you kill every creature in 1 or 2 hits.
It was fun to play it, but I won't play it again.
Let's hope black and white 2 will have a longer lifetime span.

Not a challenging game at all unfortunatly! Was fun though, while it lasted.

I agree. This game needs more quests. Alot more quests. The game did have amazing grapics. I think that this was a great game. I would give it a 9 out of 10. It lost one point because the game isn't very long and the final battle with Jack as the dragon is way too easy.

Heh, its funny, for a little bit I had thought this was going to be the Fable 2.
Of course, I found out right away that this was not true. I was just too impatient and wanted to think I could have it right away.
I'm probably not goint to get The Lost Chapters, having already bought the non-expanded Fable. But it sounds really interesting. From what I've seen, they've added alot more features.

It really needs to be played at least twice, just to be good and evil. Not playing twice is like only playing KoToR once!!! Insanity!!!

I only played KotOR once. The slow and easy combat made it for me .

I am having a great time playing thru this thoroughly as i always do. 27 hours in so far, looking under every rock and in every cranny so to speak. Finding out what is required to open every Demon door is quite intriguing in itself. Got myself Married and have plenty of offers from other females and males!! for my Nighttime services This game isn't just go kill everything in sight and kill the end boss, there is lots of interaction with everybody in every village and walks outside of the villages...Overall go get it and play it thorough, you'll enjoy.

45 hours of pure enjoyment. Finished it last night, think i might have gotten too powerful maybe? , but the end battle was a little on the easy side compared to the original battle with Jack of Blades in the Arena. Now onto Dungeon Siege 2.

I am also playing it at the moment... but i must admit... i am having a bit of a hard time getting used to the playability.... i am used to games where i can click where i want to go.... but so far so good....
I am enjoying it though.... i just want to trade my trackball for a normal mouse for the duration of the game... a trackball makes it 8 x as hard...
