WARNING, when installing V1.34 on my machine, 1 of my 2 quicksaves was deleted and in the other one some files were missing: inv.i0, inv.b0, world.x0,....

I hope I can get it fixed by copying files from my savegame

Were they both working fine before you installed the patch (ie had you quick loaded)?

I just updated to v1.34 with the new patch, and had no problems.

However, getting the quick saves, I did run into the black map problem (I couldn't reproduce before when I tried) in a couple saves under certain circumstances. Even if the save (quick or not) was missing files, it would still load fine and work properly as long as Divinity was not quit and re-started.

No danger that I can see with the new patch, but it dies not retroact to saved games to rid a character of the blindness bug. I am almost afraid to start a new game and put a bunch of time in when the bug I have experienced is unknown as to when, where, or why. Nothing to say that it won't happen eventually in a new game.

Actually, according to Solution for patch and disappearing maps the v1.34 patch will prevent this problem for games started with v1.33 or below, but games started with v1.32 or below, loaded into v1.33 and saved may be corrupted. If you start a new game, it should not happen again.

they were working fine and I started them witrh V1.33

all in al it's not a real disaster, but I had just put 1hr30 minutes in something and all that work is gone now, that's what I'm so sad about.

What's this patch v1.34? I can only find v1.33 on the Larian site?

I don't understand. The Patch will not write in the Savegame-directory.
How also the patch delete the Files? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> Where the Files are deleted after you installt the patch? Or only when you try to load the quicksave?

that I don't know, it they could be deleted when loading the quicksave although the error.txt file said: "cannot copy inv.i0 into dynamic folder" or sth like that
ok, files I can understand, but my whole quicksave.2 was gone

and they were fine before I installed the patch. nevermind though I restarted the work I did before the lost files problem
