I you could have one wish, what would it be. I mean for yourself, because I know there are alot of gentle souls out there who would wish for others first. Something you've always wanted. Either realistic or fantastic.

I know what I've always wanted:

I wish I could fly, if I had eagle's wings on my back and I could fly. The feeling would be amazing. The wind, the motion, the view, the peace, the sky... wow... Flying... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I think of this now because many things have reminded me of it, mainly the book I've lately read called: Maximum Ride: The Angle Experiment and the hymnal song I've heard in church lately called On Eagle's Wings .

I mean... flying... It would be wonderful. To leave the ground, to have wings. To be as and with the birds.

Well thats me going on about my one wish. What's yours?

Just to be in full health again, like when I was in my 20's *grin*

Don't really know... I usually dream about all kinds of stuff (being the best footballer in the world and a famous rockstar+great musicitian is the ordinary ones). But I really just want happiness, if I get that nothing else will really matter. That's what happiness is all about after all.

When I first read this post of Killerzzz, I was thinking of my wish that I do every year when it's my birthday. But I've become 28 years now, and my wish hasn't come true, instead it has become even worse. I wanted worldpeace (sounds soo cliché, I know, but what the heck) and since this is not happening in the upcoming 100 years, I will change my wish into something else.
But now the one wish I want just for me: [color:"orange"]I always wanted to be an elf. [/color] With wings of course, so I can fly from one flower to the other. And rest between the ears of my friend the Unicorn. Do I sound silly now?

My most important wish is personal and I can not share I am sorry. But I will write the second important wish which is amazingly similar to Dev's.
A castle in Scotland. (With a made to clean it ok?)

You know, Elliot, I do hope you wanted a bigger house because to fit everything you ever wanted in a half-dozen rooms is a bit hard...

I'm not that heavily into material possesions, so I wouldn't need THAT many rooms. Fortunately. I don't think 'Large Mansion' ever made the wish list, so maybe I'd better add it quick <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

i wish for job security, maybe after i finally pick a degree

Move to Sweden <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wave.gif" alt="" />. The problem here is getting a job, but when you've got it, you'll be protected by the law, so if you don't screw up (or the board...), you'll have all the job security you need <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />.

My wish is a bit difficult to put into words. I'll try it with these sentences:
"Love and be Loved", "Union".

Yesterday I re-listened (so to say) Peter Gabriel's album "US", and within it is a song called "Blood of Eden". It resembles in part what I mean.

Not silly. I'm sure as a small winged elf you'd have quite the peaceful and and happy existance. Besides, anywhere where a Unicorn wants to be has got to be a nice place. They choose the right crowds to hang with.

Actually, I'm thinking I'm gunna look like a silly little boy with some of the other things that were on my mind as a wish... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shame.gif" alt="" />

Well, here they are :

1.Living happily with my family and being a successfull writer.
2.That flight stuff I was saying earlier.
3.The ability to produce cold or ice with my bear hands (magic <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />)
4. ... and other, like, powers stuff: Teleportation (facilitating travel <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" /> ), walk-through-walls (why walk around them? And doors, ha! Doors are for squares! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/freak.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />), stuff like that.

(I've got way too big of an imagination)


The castles sound fun (the stone cottage too). Any secret rooms or passages Luc? Treaure? Or just a really nice castle where you never run out of room? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
